Peer-to-peer lending – June Update

As I mentioned on my previous post, Simple ways to earn extra income , for the past 2 years or so I have been investing my money into a peer-to-peer lending site called Lendy (formally known as Saving Stream). I have slowly been adding more and more into my account as the months go by and I am currently sat at just over £27,000 invested. Since my last post I have had 2 months of interest paid into my Lendy account, the first one for the month of May was for £254, and the second payment for the month of June was for £276 which also included a £6 sign up bonus from someone who signed up by clicking on the link I put on one of my previous articles, so thank you to whoever signed up and feel free to let me know how you are doing and your thoughts so far. For anyone else who might be looking to sign up, Lendy have just started a brand new referral process where if you sign up with this link, Click here to sign up , (which is my own referral link) and deposit £1000 or more to invest, you will receive a £50 bonus which will be added directly to your own account (within 3 months of your account being active) as a thank you for signing up via a recommendation link. This is a fantastic new change to the referral process as the old process only rewarded the person who was referring someone, however now it rewards the person who actually signs up, which a great incentive to anyone who wants to try it out and a great way to top up your savings!

So there we have my June update on my peer-2-peer lending/investing. Thanks again for taking the time to read my post, please feel free to leave a comment or email me direct and I will respond as quickly as I can 🙂
